New Beginnings Community Development Corporation(NBCDC) is a grassroots, faith-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to providing services within the City of Detroit which are directed at complex issues, and commensurate with the needs of residents in social and economic distress. In consideration and respect for other organizations and teams serving the communities, we have committed to direct our focus on the Moross-Morang neighborhood, located in Detroit's District 4 (Census tracts 5007 and 5008).
The mission of New Beginnings Community Development Corporation (NBCDC) is to provide transformative services for families in need, independent of race, creed, gender, or religious affiliation. We provide human services as well as intervention and prevention programs that are community-centered, sensitive to the culture and values of the family, and have a lasting impact on the community. Our goal is uplift the community through programs and services that ensure optimal health, family functioning, and access to essential needs, education, employment, and economic empowerment.
