Community Christmas
New Beginnings CDC (NBCDC) collaborated with Hard Court Hitters (HCH) for a community Christmas celebration. NBCDC donated 8 boxes of toys (240+) to bring joyand Christmas cheer to families. Oh, what fun and joy it was to see the children enjoy the festive, gift-giving community event. We will continue to uplift families in the community with our donations, events, and programming as we are firm believers that, “you get what you give”.
The Second Time Around
New Beginnings CDC provides backpacks and school supplies to Carleton Elementary School.
Not every family has the financial stability to supply their child with the proper school equipment to succeed. Also, some students were not fortunate enough to get free backpacks and supplies the first time around when many were donating at the beginning of the school year. Donations ensure that everyone in the classroom is equipped with the fundamental tools to thrive in school. With this in mind, New Beginnings CDC (NBCDC) donated 200 backpacks filled with supplies as well as additional supplies to Carleton Elementary School this December 2022 to positively impact the students and the entire classroom. This means that students who may have lost or damaged their backpacks or possibly run out of supplies will get what they need to have a successful second half of the school year.
Utility Assistance
Each year during the winter season we help to reduce the anxiety and stress associated with financial burden, for members of the community by providing utility assistance.
UNFORTUNATELY, DUE TO LIMITED FUNDING, WE NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR 2022
